Welcome to the TechnoGuild Radio section!

We started this project as a means of further investigating internet based media. Internet radio has been around for many years now and has served as a very innovative means of getting your message across to large audiences. Today, almost all 'terrestrial' based radio stations also have an internet radio setup to help broaden their listener base.

One particular advantage of internet radio, just like the internet itself, is that you are able to listen and broadcast virtually anywhere in the world. We hope to take advantage of this technology by offering our members the opportunity to use the server we established as an internet radio base station to broadcast music, shows, programs and other audio related work to a world wide audience.

We also plan to use the data we collect to create a comprehensive tutorial for those interested in hosting their own internet radio stations.

Current Radio Shows:

• Technological Transpondence- Our main experimental 24 hour stream, being broadcast from the local server. Genres include Techno and electronica and various soundtracks matching the Guild's unique theme. Expect to hear a lot of hybrid music such as techno-classical, techno-rock and synth-alternative.

• Note: We are currently looking for more suitable music to play on our station. If you have any requests or recommendations, please let us know!

• DJ Keoni in da house - A live DJ mixing session by Korophona , who is currently based in the Philippines. His current style of music include House, Dance, Jungle, Happy Harcore and various other Techno related music.

• Visions -  Hosted by Manny89 from Italy, this show is a one hour and thirthy minute mind trip through the best of dream-related music, such as progressive/uplifting trance and club music, as well going through ambient and chillout music.

• Topsecret Corner - A veritable variety show hosted by Topsecret221 from Texas. The show is divided into two parts, with a quarter of the hour being dedicated to Christian songs, and another quarter of an hour being dedicated to Alternative Rock. There are many little segments that will keep listeners entertained such as a weekly science update, trivia, interviews, and jokes! If you have any ideas for the show feel free to PM Topsecret as he is looking for more ideas. 

• DJ Darkspeeds - A radio show hosted by comic artist Darkspeeds from Perth, Australia. His shows involve an eclectic blend of music based on themes and genres found in music and art. He often interviews special guests from the global Sonic the Hedgehog community as well as artists and musicians from the DA-sphere and beyond. Shows are held every fortnight.
